During the 6 month engagement interns will be in a supportive learning environment contributing both independently and on a team against key department initiatives. Competitive compensation is offered including a stipend for eligible candidates. 

In the Inventory Management Co - Op role you will gain experience with inventory management and logistics for a large retail company.  You will be responsible for:  

-Achieving on-going management of product availability and service level 
-Reporting and managing orders with planners and recommending strategies to optimize inventory levels
-Analyzing and collaborating with various internal partners 
-Suggestions on new processes, opportunities, and initiatives that deliver savings or service improvements

Required Qualifications

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
-Strong interpersonal skills; 
-Ability to independently resolve issues Good judgment and decision-making ability 
-Good verbal and written communication skills 
-Strong time management and organizational skills 
-Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodology a plus Independent thinker capable of self-starting and problem solving skills is a must advanced proficiency in  Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access)

Preferred Qualifications
-Supply chain management or store experience a plus

Education
-Candidates must be in enrolled in a 4 year Supply Chain
Management undergrad program
