As a Senior Advisor within the Omnicare Innovation team, the colleague will be responsible for the management and delivery of multiple key analytic and reporting work streams and projects within the Process Innovation and Senior Living portfolios. Additionally, this role will have the responsibility for managing and developing multiple direct reports and preparing and providing regular updates to senior leaders within Omnicare.

Candidates for this position have demonstrated the capability to successfully manage and complete complex projects with minimal oversight as well as manage and develop direct reports. Additionally, this position will require the ability to seamlessly manage competing priorities in a fast paced dynamic environment. Ideally, candidates will have a background and capability with analytics and reporting including the full lifecycle of reporting from ideation to steady state production.

Candidates for this position have developed specialized skills in their field, demonstrate professional maturity and have demonstrated a capability to successfully manage and complete complex projects with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities % Time
1. Analytical Support of Projects within the Innovation Portfolio -

Lead the design and production of analytics and reporting of the Innovation portfolio as well as Senior Living portfolio (includes predictive analytics and developing the metrics and measures for each project). All these projects are targeted to drive $99M in value for 2019.

2. Resource & Team Management, Development and Prioritization - 3 direct reports

Manages, tracks and assesses the value budget for the innovation portfolio. Consults with project owners to assign value budgets, challenge assumptions and methods and validates on a regular basis

Sets the agenda for IT spend/allocation for Innovation Projects to ensure strategic allocation of resources 40%
3. Project Management -

Related to the IT components required to support the reporting, dashboards, etc. enabling the business to achieve critical project milestones. Monitor the BEG and the BUG. Ensure Liaison between IT and Innovation team. 20%
4. Leadership Updates & Alignment - influence and advise senior leaders based on the metrics, trends and resource plan. 15%

5. Coach & Develop Direct Reports - deliver timely and actionable feedback and coaching to all direct reports with the goal of career and performance development 15%

Required Qualifications
PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE:
Must have 7 to 10 years analytical & project management experience and/or education equivalent along with 3-5 years of experience managing direct reports.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
1. Strong ability to manage multiple complex tasks with confidence
2. History of successful project management experience.
3. Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
4. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
5. Display teamwork abilities and maintain a positive attitude
6. Proficient/Mastery in MS Excel, Word, and Power Point
7. Experience with standard end user BI tools such as Cognos, MicroStrategy, etc.
8. Must have clear understanding of economic evaluation / capital expenditure justification

Education
EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Management Information Systems or related field required
Masters degree in related field or MBA preferred.
