The Senior Manager of Rx Inventory Management is responsible for developing strategies for identifying, executing, measuring and maximizing inventory management practices, productivity and controls to meet the following company goals (In-stock, Service level, Sales and Margin, Inventory productivity (Turn, GMROI)). This position is responsible for managing the Rx Inventory Management optimization of both the retail pharmacy channel as well as the Long Term Care pharmacies. The Senior Manager of Rx Inventory Management requires a strong understanding of store activities and processes, inventory replenishment and merchandising processes for Rx. This is a key role in providing senior management with the information it needs to make critical business decisions, identify inventory opportunities and offer recommendations to optimize inventory. Due to the impacts within the organization, this position will interact with several departments specifically, but not limited to Rx Operations, IT, Finance, Logistics, Rx Merchandising, and Field Leadership.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Manage, monitor and track the Rx Inventory Management optimization portfolio; provide leadership readouts and summaries, manage timelines of activities, identify and plan longer term efforts.
-Provide thought leadership and direction to the optimization team from identification of opportunities through to systemic implementation
-Perform analysis to measure full scope impact of proposed changes; inventory levels, ordering/shipping estimates, customer service levels, store/DC labor changes
-Create testing plans to provide insight in to the individual and combined effect of changes
-Provide requirements to IS for systemic changes, support UAT plan and implementation efforts
-Build and maintain relationships with our internal partners to gain alignment on Rx inventory management strategies
-Pressure test our internal models to identify opportunities for improvements
-Support development of inventory management dashboards
-Provide support to projects owned by other departments that have inventory related implications
-Additional ad hoc activities as required

Required Qualifications
3+ years experience in pharmacy, supply chain, inventory management, merchandising, financial or statistical analysis.

Preferred Qualifications
-Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and independently solve business problems
-Inventory and supply chain knowledge including store processes and procedures
-Management of analyst roles
-Proven ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
-Excellent communication and analytical skills
-Demonstrated ability and flexibility to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
-Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Access and Excel
-Prior experience with data visualization tools
-Experience in Retail or Healthcare Industries
-Pharmacy training
-Proven ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
-Highly motivated and a natural problem solver
-Work effectively in a team environment

Education
Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems preferred.
