Job Description
The Risk Management Coordinator is directly responsible for the supervision of our general liability claims to include premise, product and auto liability program with a large financial exposure for CVS. This involves the oversight of all liability claims that are handled by our Third Party Claim Administrators (TPA). This position is directly responsible for ensuring adherence to CVS claim handling guidelines, analyzing TPA performance and directing claims handling.

Additional responsibilities of the Risk Management Coordinator include:
* Directly responsible for the oversight of incurred dollars within the TPA’s authority in general liability losses and holding the TPA accountable to reserving philosophies which directly impact the financial strength of CVS.
* Act as the liaison with TPA on various requests for information needed to adjudicate claims to include but not limited to: leases, lease abstracts, product vendor information, service channel records, video, Extra Care Card verification.
* Oversight TPA for compliance with CVS claims handling instructions.
* Processes Customer Relations claim reports and forwards to TPA for handling.
* Sources Quality Assurance team to assist with critical product information required in order for TPA to adjudicate claims.
* Review and re-direct Risk Management Call Line.
* Ensure compliance and accuracy with required TPA
coding.

Required Qualifications
* 6+ months of work experience

Preferred Qualifications
* Excellent PC skills, to include experience on Microsoft Office and Outlook.
* Excellent analytical, organizational, written, communication and time management skills.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Proven availability to handle conflicts successfully.
* Ability to maintain work in strict confidence.
* Ability to prioritize work with minimal supervision.
* Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to interpret medical reports.
* Team Player

Education
* High School diploma or GED required
