CVS Health is seeking a Manager of Regulatory Compliance to join the CVS Store Brand Quality Assurance team.
The Quality Assurance team is responsible for ensuring the safety, efficacy and compliance of 6,000+ CVS Store Brand products.

The primary responsibilities of the Regulatory Compliance Manager are to identify and evaluate potential risks associated with existing and emerging regulations, and to develop and implement compliance strategies. In addition, this role will be responsible for managing the recall processes for front store products.

The Regulatory Compliance Manager needs to be a self-starter who has working knowledge of federal and state regulations impacting products that CVS sells (e.g., FDA, CPSC, OEHHA) and demonstrated project management experience.

- Monitor, assess and report to SB leadership, Legal and Compliance the potential impact of existing and emerging federal, state and local regulations on our front store merchandise portfolio and processes
- Lead/participate in cross functional teams in the development and implementation of complex regulatory compliance strategies
- Communicate complex regulatory requirements to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, supplier partners, and regulatory agencies
- Manage recall process for front store products. Responsibilities include ensuring recall requests comply with federal, state and local regulations and internal policies, and ensuring timely execution across the entire supply chain. This role monitors outside sources to ensure CVS is notified on a timely basis of recalls and researches recalls to understand and anticipate potential recall scope creep (e.g., raw ingredient manufacturer sells to more than reporting supplier) and to mitigate risk.
- Coordinate the tracking and processing of CVS Store Brand product registrations and licenses (e.g., state pesticide registrations, state feed registrations)
- Ensure the integrity of Quality Assurance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This includes revision management and entry into the Policy and Procedure Portal.
- Assist with activities related to the Chemical and Ingredient Data Management systems and programs (WERCSmart and PurView)

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of regulatory compliance experience for drugs, medical devices, cosmetics or foods with strong knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, CPSC, OEHHA, EPA).
- 2+ years of demonstrated project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels of internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to think strategically about existing and emerging regulations and understand how they can impact CVS Health
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment balancing competing priorities
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently
- In depth knowledge of OTC regulations

Bachelor’s degree required.
