As the US Healthcare System transitions to a value based payment model, Health Plans are increasingly being measured and rewarded based on performance across a variety of clinical and operational quality measures. Performing well on these measures can result in specific rewards including, but not limited to, financial bonuses, increased enrollment through beneficiary preferences and higher levels of auto-enrollment. Adherence to medication is critical to improving health outcomes and reducing healthcare costs. As a result, quality measures pertaining to medication adherence and gaps in care are at the core of the Medicare Star Ratings Quality program.

As the Stars Program Management Advisor, you will support Caremark’s most strategic and complex Medicare Health Plan clients on the Clinical Stars adherence and medication gaps measures. You will partner with and influence a wide set of internal and external partners at all levels of leadership including external vendors, clients and internal operational partners, to develop and execute Stars program strategy responsible for driving significant year over year performance improvement to attain 4 Star goals.
Success in this role will require a passion and proven ability to design, develop and build solutions to drive step change improvement in all aspects of our existing suite of programs to achieve world-class Clinical Stars ratings, to improve health outcomes, and manage costs
You will be responsible for, and measured against, the following primary objectives:
* Program Innovation and Optimization:
o Partner cross-functionally to understand existing goals, programs and processes. Work collaboratively identify additional areas of opportunity
o Leverage knowledge and experience to make recommendations to improve on existing products and processes, including initiatives that will improve ability to reach members through enhanced algorithms and initiatives that will analyze member touch points to identify opportunities to increase awareness and motivate behavior change
o Develop business cases and identify key assumptions to test. Own the execution of prioritized work streams and pilots, measure results and compare against critical assumptions, design and optimize subsequent work based on initial learnings, and ultimately develop and communicate overall strategy to leadership
* Program Execution:
o Deliver flawless execution of prioritized initiatives by establishing strong operational oversight processes to identify and align all required resources to deliver campaigns, including expense forecast, IT systemic changes, labor model for pharmacists, technicians and agents.
o Rigorously monitor for performance risk and improvement opportunities by overseeing the development of action oriented program reporting to highlight performance against leading indicators, as well as in-year evaluation of impact on engaged vs. non-engaged members.
* Cross Functional Collaboration:
o Collaborate cross-functionally to gather insights, gain subject matter expertise, understand impact to scalability, and leverage resources and knowledge across broader teams. Influence other business units on the importance of the innovation and gain buy in to develop and execute.


Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience within product management, strategy, operations or management consulting
2+ years of experience of industry knowledge and pharmacy trends, including those directly related to enterprise assets
2+ years of advanced-level experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically with Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Word, and Project.

Must have the ability and flexibility to travel up to 25%.

Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent degree or work experience may substitute
