CVS Health is growing! We are currently seeking a dynamic person to fill the position of Manager of Product Purchasing Strategy. If you are excited to be a part of a Fortune 7 healthcare innovation company, this may be the career opportunity you are looking for!

In this role you will be responsible for preparing RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and evaluating supplier proposals (including cost analysis and sample review).

You will also establish savings tracking methodology and report realized savings on a continuous base and ensure realized savings ties back to projected budget / goal.

You will Independently design and conduct complex analyses (e.g. addressing multiple, interconnected issues or elements) using many different types of information (customer, competitor, economics, etc.)

You will distill insights into potential sourcing,merchandising and category opportunities and articulate conclusions and recommendations to the leadership team and category management.

Prepare material and presentations in a way that can be easily understood by others who may not have the same background or expertise.

You will engage cross-functionally across the organization to drive results and resolve issues encountered by the team including the ability to assess and course-correct as necessary.

You will partner with other groups on analysis including finance, inventory, legal, joint venture partners and manufacture partners (e.g., major CPGs) involved in the sourcing process.

Required Qualifications
-3+ year’s minimum relevant experience in a retail / reseller organization; or in an analytical, sourcing, merchandising, or buying position

- Able and Willing to travel 5% - 10%

Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to construct complex models to analyze information (primarily in Excel)

- Superior analytical skills, quantitative skills and problem solving skills including competency with statistics

- Experience working with large data sets

- Ability to explain analysis through PowerPoint (e.g., tell the story)

- Keen ability to distill complex ideas into simpler frameworks and illustrations

- High level of independent discernment and initiative required

- The highest level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting to priorities as needed and meeting deadlines

- SAS, SQL, Access and Tableau knowledge

- 1 year or more of consulting or related analytical experience a plus

Bachelor's Degree required
