Job Description
As a Paralegal for our CVS Health’s Legal Department, you will be directly involved in the day-to-day operations of the Litigation team. You will work with multiple levels within the Legal department and perform several Paralegal duties as part of a collaborative team effort to achieve success. Our Paralegals maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality while handling multiple business critical tasks.

As a Paralegal for the Litigation team, you will:
- assist in handling small claims matters;
- respond to subpoenas and other third party information requests;
- work collaboratively with in-house attorneys, outside counsel and internal business partners in connection with pending litigations or other matters, including discovery requests, factual investigations, and related tasks.

This position is available in either Woonsocket, RI or Northbrook, IL.

Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional work experience specifically from a paralegal, legal assistant, or other legal environments.
-1+ year of experience using Microsoft Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a legal, compliance, or privacy environment
- Previous experience identifying process improvements/enhancements and implementing change
- Proven ability to function within a team, with a positive attitude and eagerness to tackle all tasks, regardless of size
- Proven ability to use clear and accurate written and verbal communication to interact with multiple levels of colleagues
- Proven ability to prioritize work, maintain flexibility and manage expectations while meeting scheduled deadlines

- Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience required
- Bachelor's Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred
