The Senior Advisor will be responsible for driving all phases of medium to large projects/programs to successful completion. The Senior Advisor is responsible for providing day to day leadership, management and coordination of all activities pertaining to project direction, goal setting, planning, estimating, resource allocation and assignments, project health and reporting, problem resolution and collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure project goals are met. In addition, the Sr. Advisor proactively provides coaching and mentoring to individuals and teams for Project Management best practices, continuous process improvement, and customer satisfaction initiatives.

Manage project/program team in the areas of scheduling, technical direction, project planning and standard development practices. Meet scheduled milestones to ensure project/program objectives are met in a timely manner and have an in-depth knowledge of the principles, theories, practices, and techniques for managing the activities related to planning, managing and implementing projects and programs in an Agile environment. Work with business leaders to prioritize and deliver IT solutions to enable business goals and objectives. Oversee various systems projects of significant magnitude in terms of complexity, cost, time-constraints, internal and external staffing. Allocate appropriate resources to meet timely completion of specific project tasks. Apprise senior IT management of project status, issues, and concerns. Actively pursue issue resolution and communicates project status/issues to business stakeholders and operational management.

This position will be responsible for driving the successful execution of CVS Health’s most critical and complex IT initiatives and programs. Via close partnership with CVS Health Digital executives and senior leaders, this Sr. Advisor will be responsible for helping scope major strategic initiatives and then guide their end-to-end execution to ensure business-driven results and transformative outcomes. The position supports enterprise-wide goals to significantly improve IT project delivery in execution speed and effectiveness, driving a consistent approach, and understanding and supporting the unique business requirements of CVS Health Digital. You will be part of a team of Program Managers and Project Managers taking accountability for the most important and complex IT projects and programs, working to ensure the goals are achieved. In close partnership and collaboration with Business Leaders outside of IT, you will be accountable for elements of program management, coordination, and execution. It will be essential that this Sr. Advisor not only have outstanding program management skills, but also exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills. The successful candidate will possess broad business acumen in addition to the theoretical and practical application of program management and Agile methodologies. Outstanding partnership management and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to influence across the enterprise.

Required Qualifications
8 years of professional, related experience in consulting, digital agencies, client management, team management, business relationship management and resource management.
8 years of project management experience, demonstrated by a proven track record of success in multiple complex projects and/or programs.
5 years’ experience with Agile methodologies working with ecommerce and digital activities; order management system or ecommerce platform; large-scale ecommerce and digital projects; small-scale projects; and, large distributed teams.
Experience must include managing digital projects related to ecommerce, web site design, integrations, mobile app.

Preferred Qualifications
Digital Project Management, Digital Product Management or Digital Agency background.
Scrum Master certification

Education
Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Project Management, or related field. MBA preferred.
Will accept a Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of experience in lieu of a Master’s degree and 8 years of experience.
