Job Description
The Environmental Specialist will report to a Senior Manager in the CVS Corporate Environmental Department. Primary responsibilities include assisting in the development and implementation of environmental compliance programs for all CVS Health facilities. Working with a Senior Manager, the Environmental Specialist position will interact with business partners to address compliance needs. The primary focus of this position will entail providing enterprise-wide support in the areas of environmental permitting and reporting. This position will also assist in the research of regulatory requirements and initial steps to determine applicability under the supervision of his/her manager. The Environmental Specialist will have general knowledge of major federal and state environmental regulations. Additionally, this position will monitor regulatory notices, participate in program enhancements, and assist the Senior Manager in responding to requests from operating facilities and government agencies. In addition, this position will support environmental programs by providing field assistance to CVS Health facilities as needed.

Required Qualifications
- 6+ months of work experience

Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years related environmental management experience
- Experience working on environmental matters in a retail setting is desired but not required.
- Strong Excel spreadsheet skills or the ability to gain these skills quickly is also desired.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
