Job Description
Enterprise Information Architecture team is the primary authority for enterprise data strategy. The team provides requisite knowledge to work across enterprise data and provide strategic direction for data management, database development, data warehouse, application development, reporting, analytics and big data strategies.

The Enterprise Information/Data Architect will work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to build a holistic view of the data strategy, processes, information, and data assets. The Enterprise Information Architect will be responsible for influencing transformational change such as shifting the IT operating model from Waterfall to Agile.

The Enterprise Information Architect is responsible for, but not limited to:
* Work with other team members in the enterprise architecture team to define and implement the future state architecture and an interim strategy to move us towards the path
* Conceptualize and drive adoption of Information Platforms as per Enterprise Data Strategy
* Define data/information architecture standards, policies and procedures for the organization
* Structure, attributes and nomenclature of data elements, and apply accepted data content standards to technology projects.
* Define Standard Integration points for data being captured into the Data Platforms
* Setup processes to ensure existing data/information assets are identified, stewarded and leveraged across the enterprise.
* Review, verify and approve the Conceptual and Logical data models done by the owner teams for modeling standards, naming convention and properly defining all objects and relationships.
* Executes and provides feedback for data modeling policies, procedure, processes and standards.
* Consult in the refinement of existing models, adding new ideas to make the result more flexible and more tightly linked to current and expected requirements.

Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of data modeling experience.
* 5+ years of experience with relational database design and structured query language (SQL).
* 3+ years of experience on using Data model Management repositories e.g. Modal Mart.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in Waterfall and Agile methodologies
* Deep understanding of Metadata management
* Experience with canonical modeling and data modeling for OLTP, OLAP, NOSQL applications
* Experience with enterprise wide metadata management using the industry leading tools
* Experience with Information Lifecycle Management Consulting, Implementation, Data Governance, and Data Strategy Consulting
* Highly competent with data modeling using industry leading tools like ERWIN or ERStudio.

Bachelor's of Computer Science or equivalent. Will accept High School Diploma / GED with one year of relevant work experience for every year of college not attained in addition to required years of experience.
