As a member of the Enterprise Analytics teams at CVS Health, you will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of analytic solutions. You will collaborate with business partners from product development and management, operations, finance, and marketing to demonstrate value of CVS Health products and services. You will enable data-driven strategic decision-making and find opportunities for existing product improvement and new product development. Your experience will include translating business needs into analytic questions and develop Tableau dashboards. In this exciting role, you will design and conduct rigorous analyses of pharmacy data, medical claims and other data translating your analytic findings for appropriate business and customer audiences.

- Collaborate with key internal and external partners to gather and analyze needs and requirements;

- Access data, construct and manipulate large datasets to support planned analyses, using SAS, SQL and similar tools;

- Conduct analyses of the data, ranging from descriptive adhoc analyses to in-depth investigations of healthcare utilization trends and outcomes with several statistical modeling approaches, such as regression modeling, time-series analyses, and machine learning techniques including random forests and ensemble models;

- Design and implement robust analytic and reporting solutions to support the identified needs;

- Build dynamic data visualization tools with Tableau;

- Construct and deliver written reports of your findings in a variety of formats (reports, PPT, including visualization of your findings, formulate recommendations, and effectively present the results to with non-analytic audiences;

- Tailor the analytic solution to the specific client need and constraints of delivery timelines;

- Apply creativity in developing analytic solutions based on available data sources, and representing analytic findings in reports, tools, and other media to support most effective translation and application for our customers;

- Manage complex projects related to a wide variety of financial, utilization, and clinical business needs.


Required Qualifications
* 3+ years of previous work experience in data analysis
* 3+ years’ experience using advanced technical skills, with proficiency in SQL
* Experience with relational databases
* Experience with SAS, R and Python or other reporting tools
* Proven competencies in collaboration, creative problem solving and agility
* Possess a strong curiosity to continuously learn data science techniques and tools
* You should be able to work in a climate of ambiguity
* You should have strong organization skills
* Demonstrate excellent relationship management, strong team building and the ability to work across business units within a complex organization
* Experience with Tableau or other data visualization techniques
* Excellent project management skills and ability to deliver in the fast-paced evolving environment
* Educational background may serve as a substitute for part or all of the length of relevant employment requirement;

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with machine learning (i.e. feature engineering, model selection, validation, etc.)
* Experience with program evaluation and statistical analysis (i.e. sample size determination and statistical inference)
* Experience with big data tools such as Hadoop and Spark
* Knowledge and experience with healthcare industry and healthcare data
* Experience with time series and forecasting methods
* Experience working with data visualization platforms such as Tableau and MicroStrategy

-Metrics and reporting methodology track:
Experience developing, testing, documenting and maintaining standardized outcome metrics meeting
diverse business needs;
Experience developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining methodologies for standardized and
repeatable reporting for internal and external audiences;
Ability to quickly develop knowledge and understanding of new domains and underlying data sources;
Working knowledge of in-depth statistical methodologies a plus.

-Program evaluation and research track:
Proven ability to develop prospective and retrospective study design and evaluation protocols, including
study population selection and matching criteria outcome measures definition and statistical
Proven ability to develop prospective study design and evaluation protocols, including population
inclusion and targeting criteria, randomization techniques, power analyses, outcome metric development
and measurement;
Experience with rapid-cycle evaluation and reporting a plus;
Record of peer-reviewed publications a plus

-Predictive modeling track:
Proven ability to develop risk identification and stratification methods for clinical and pharmacy care
Proven ability constructing, validating, and maintaining predictive models in healthcare settings;
Experience developing and applying forecasting methods and models a plus.

-Campaign analytics track:
Experience developing database, direct, one-to-one or customer relationship marketing strategies;
Experience in test-and-learn analytic concepts as applied to patient communications in a healthcare or
related setting;
Background in acquisition and retention marketing efforts a plus
