Job Description
The Inventory Analytics Advisor is responsible for analysis and reporting to support the Inventory Management and Store Replenishment teams in daily decision making and implementation of core Inventory Optimization improvements. Due to the scope of analytics and broad connections across the organization, this position will interact with several departments within CVS; specifically, but not limited to Finance, Logistics, Merchandising, and Store Operations. The Inventory Management Advisor position requires a strong understanding of inventory replenishment, forecasting, margin analysis, data mining, statistical analysis, and supply chain processes.

Develop and support weekly production reporting jobs, including new ad-hoc reports, utilizing Microsoft Office and Oracle database query tools.

Work with key business owners to perform ad-hoc analyses across multiple geographical or merchandise hierarchies. Provide management with accurate and timely information and recommendations pertaining to daily operational efficiencies.

Build analytical models to illustrate the impact of proposed enhancements - including modifications to ordering strategies and replenishment calculation changes.

Develop new reporting and delivery methodologies for gaining better insight and efficiencies.

Enhance existing analytics toolset and participate in the sourcing of new tools; including defining requirements, development and UAT.

Support team projects by providing reporting and key data extracts from various database sources (Oracle, Access, and Mainframe).

Develop processes for data validation and accuracy

Required Qualifications
A Master's Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field and two years of work experience in business and data analytics, including two years of experience with SQL programming and PL/SQL; developing analytical tools and ETL processes; utilizing major data management environments such as SQL Developer or Oracle Client 11g or higher; performing root cause analysis; and working in cross functional initiatives is required. Caremark will accept a bachelor's degree and five years of experience in lieu of a master's degree and two years of experience. Must apply by 05-12-19.
