Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate individual to assume the role of Technical Support Engineer in our West Kingston, RI or Costa Mesa, CA locations.

Candidates selected will begin their career as Technical Support Engineers in the Customer Care Center (CCC). From there, a new hire has the opportunity to promote rapidly to a variety of national and global roles, including: Product Manager, Configuration Engineer, Applications Engineer, Systems Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Network Integration Engineer, and others.

Responsibilities:
Assist potential customers with product selection and configuration
Interpret and resolve complex product questions
Identify and route large business opportunities to sales teams for follow up and closure
Ensure every interaction creates the optimal customer experience

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline or equivalent work experience. Ideally, those chosen will be flexible to travel or relocate and be fluent in English; bilingual skills are an added benefit.
The model candidate will possess the ability to work in a dynamic, global environment and have a high level of aptitude and interest in technology. In order to be successful in this role, an individual will exhibit excellent problem solving skills, interpersonal and organizational communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The initial position is located at our office in West Kingston, RI and Costa Mesa, CA. Career path promotions are available throughout the United States and include international assignment opportunities.
