We are currently seeking a Clinical Support Specialist for our community based Foster Family Services Program. In this role you will provide administrative support for our Foster Family Services Program throughout the state of Rhode Island. This includes assisting in the selection and communication with contracted therapists, as well as developing and maintaining effective relationships with support service agencies. You will provide individual, group, and family counseling as requested, as well as 24 hour-a-day support for clinical and crisis management issues. As our Clinical Support Specialist you will create individual treatment plans, monitor current treatment practices and assist in developing new procedures for counseling and treatment planning. You will provide clinical supervision and oversight, as well as assist with staff training to ensure contract requirements and compliance is met.

To be considered for this unique opportunity you will need:

* Master s Degree or above in Social Work, Psychology or a related field is required
* Licensed and certified mental health practitioner is essential
* At least two years experience working with youth and families is preferred
* Knowledge of consultation, training, evaluation and administration acquired from hands-on experience is highly desirable
* Flexibility to work non-traditional hours and be on-call 24/7 for clinical and crisis management issues
* Possess and maintain a valid driver s license with a good driving record, plus ability to provide own transportation to complete travel requirements of the job
