Responsibility:

Responsibilities:

Follow written procedures for Quality Control Laboratory testing including complex assays as trained and qualified according to scheduled requirements.

Order, stock, and receive, log and inventory lab supplies.

Write and revise basic laboratory SOPs and reports as assigned.

Assist with laboratory investigations, test method and equipment validation and technical transfers as required.

Perform support work for QC laboratory including lab cleaning, equipment cleaning and maintenance, preparation of reagents and solutions.

Perform lab administrative functions as assigned.

Perform all job functions in compliance with cGMPs and maintain accurate and legible laboratory records.

Ensure training is current for all job functions performed. Attend all required company training.

Education Requirement:

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

The individual in this position is expected to have a basic understanding of the laboratory environment and be familiar with basic laboratory equipment / instrumentation: pH meters, balances, spectrophotometers, incubators, etc.

This position requires the individual to understand and follow written SOPs, record all work legibly and in real time; close attention to detail is necessary.

The person in this position will receive supervisory direction on all non-routine activities, and that routine activities will be unsupervised as training and competency develops.

A good understanding of the concepts and systems applied to the tests and cGMP operations is expected.

Education and experience:

AS / BS in chemistry or biological science. 2-5 years experience.
