Jobing Description

Line Haul Driver

* Drive diesel-powered tractor-trailer at night from terminal to terminal to transport and deliver general commodities, while applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle in difficult situations

* Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

* Maintain driver log according to FMCSA regulations

* Communicate with Dispatch via Qualcomm system

* Will perform the functions of a Dockworker (drive propane-powered forklift or battery-operated pallet jack to push, pull, lift, stack, tier or move products to and from trailers and straight trucks into or out of the warehouse)

* Comply and adhere to FMC Safety Regulations

* Home weekends and once a week, usually mid-week

Requirements

* Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement

* Minimum of 23 years of age

* 1 year of verifiable experience driving at night, or 3 years of verifiable experience driving during daylight and night hours combined

* No license suspensions (excluding non-moving violations) in the last 3 years

* No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years

* No unexplainable gaps in employment

* Ability to comply and adhere to FMC Safety Regulations
